Almost 2 months ago I woke up to a text from one of my best friends asking if I was free on June 11. Before even asking for any context I responded saying that I was and she promptly told me she had just gotten us tickets to go to the Museum of Ice Cream! I was so excited when she told me that I almost cried, which feel so silly now, but I had been wanting to go for such a long time.
Well, yesterday, the day finally came! Although I plan on sharing a post full of my picture from the museum, I wanted to share what I wore beforehand! In an effort to get the best photo ops (#doitforthegram, am I right?), I opted to wear light pink and white and the pink matched the decor so well!
I bought this blouse on major sale over the weekend and I’m so glad I did. Not only was it a total steal, but it is so cute and surprisingly comfortable!
I also picked up this skirt from J.Crew the same day as this blouse and I’m in love with it. It’s lightweight, incredibly flattering, and the perfect length! This skirt will be so perfect for summer!
I bought this gold confetti pouch back when I was in San Francisco in March and hadn’t found the perfect excuse to use it until this day! It turned out being so cute and, although it definitely would have been more convenient to have a crossbody or something, I think this pouch was perfect for the occasion! Also, yes those are sprinkles on my nails… I got a special sprinkles mani for my trip to the museum and I think it came out as cute as can be!
Remember when I talked all about these awesome sandals from Olive & June?! Well, since they’re so incredibly comfortable I decided to wear them with this outfit! I think the complimented it perfectly because of how simple they are and they kept my feet happy all day long.
Keep your eyes peeled for a post all about the Museum of Ice Cream soon!
