By now you’ve hopefully all figured out that I’ve been in NYC (and now Philly) for the past 7 days. This has been one of the most amazing trips of my entire life, but sadly today is my last day and I’m catching my plane back to LA this evening!
I thought since this was my travel day home, that I should begin my trip recaps today with traveling to NYC.
This may have been the worst flying experience of my life, so needless to say the trip did not seem to be off to a great start. We were delayed for a little over four hours and when we finally boarded the plane, my mom (you guys can call her Mimi) and I quickly realized we were surrounded by children (I’m sure I don’t have to explain why that was so awful).
I wore a pretty simple and comfy outfit for the plane ride and stuck with jeans, a popover, sandals, and a large tote to carry all my carry-on items. I almost always wear sandals when traveling by plane in order to ease the security process. Just don’t forget to bring socks if your feet get cold on the plane!
When we finally arrived in New York it was 2 am and I had about 4 hours until I had to be awake the next morning. I ended up sleeping 2 hours that night, but I was wide awake with excitement to be in my favorite city in the world!
I promise you the photos and recaps will be way way better for the recaps for the rest of the trip. There wasn’t very much to photograph on Day 1 between the two airports… In fact, there are so many photos I’ve taken I’m having a hard time deciding which ones to share! Can’t wait to share more tomorrow!
