As I mentioned in last week’s outfit post, I spent my first few days of Spring Break in San Francisco with my friends! It was so much fun getting to have my own little vacay before Caroline came to visit me in LA for the week! Before this trip I had already been to San Francisco a few times, but my friends had not, so we did a good mix of touristy and less-touristy stuff while we were there. I loved getting to explore the neighborhoods and try all the food. (I seriously think I gained 20 pounds that weekend #noregrets.)
I thought it would be fun to share some of the pictures I took while I was there of places we went, things we did, and foods we ate! Sorry for the photo overload, but I just loved them all so much.
Day 1:
We started our first day with coffee at Wrecking Ball Coffee before grabbing brunch at Rose’s Cafe. I had heard great things about both of these places from reading up online and the did not disappoint in the slightest. Following brunch we wandered up and down Union Street and walked down to Chestnut Street popping into boutiques, doing a little shopping, and exploring the neighborhood. After a little bit of exploring we walked down to the water and towards the Golden Gate Bridge to snap a few pics. No trip to San Fran is complete without it in my opinion. Because our feet were pretty tired from all the walking, we took an uber from the Marina to Alamo Square to see the Painted Ladies. Afterwards, we went back to Union Square and walked through some of the shops before returning to out hotel to rest before heading to Fisherman’s Wharf for dinner! We had Clam Chowder in Bread Bowls at Boudin’s and a Brownie Fudge Sundae at Ghirardelli’s.

Day 2:
Our second day kicked off with Breakfast at Farmerbrown just a couple blocks from our hotel. After breakfast, we did some shopping along Market Street including going to the huge Nordstrom in the Westfield Mall and popping into other stores we liked as we passed them. After a thorough amount of shopping walking, we caught an uber to the Ferry Building to get coffee and snacks! We may or may not have indulged in more than our fair share of goodies. We kept walking around for a bit after the Ferry Building, but eventually opted to just go back to the hotel to rest before getting ready to go to dinner with a friend who goes to school near the city. We went to the most delicious taco place called Nick’s Crispy Taco’s, grabbed some frozen yogurt and wandered around Chinatown for a bit! I decided not take my camera with me this day because I didn’t want to lug it all around the city, so I have less pictures — just some snaps I caught on my iPhone!
Day 3:
Unfortunately this was the day we left, so we only had time for one thing… MR. HOLMES! I’ve been to the Los Angeles location before, but going to the San Francisco one has been on my to do list for longer than I can trace back. The on here in LA is pretty good, so I had pretty high expectations of the the one in SF and let me tell you it exceeded them all! Everything was so so good and there were so many options. If you’re ever in the city, this is definitely a must. The line wasn’t even very long!
