Man, oh man, I must really be on island time because I completely forgot that yesterday was Monday and didn’t blog the night before!
We landed in Hawaii on Sunday, and even though our trip got off to a bit of a rocky start, (Think baby walking around the plane screaming and only wearing a diaper) it is absolutely heavenly here! The beach and views are breathtaking and the water is so refreshing. Everything is peaceful and everyone seems so relaxed that it seems impossible to be unhappy here… I wish I never had to leave!

I definitely can’t overlook the fact that we are here to celebrate my amazing mama’s birthday, which is today! Even though I have to try and teach her the magic of embracing her birthday, she teaches me so many much more valuable life lessons. I am so lucky to have such an amazing role model for a mother and best friend. It’s so nice getting to spend this family time together before I head over to school next week.
Last night, we planted ourselves in these adirondack chairs to enjoy the sunset. It was so amazing getting to watch the sun minute by minute slowly set over the ocean. It might have been the prettiest sunset I’ve ever seen!
