Is anyone else nosey and always wondering what others are ordering from Amazon? Given that Amazon carries such a broad array of products, it feels personal, like when people share “What’s In My Bag” videos, which I also love. From box cutters and pens to kitten heels, here are some of my recent Amazon purchases that I recommend…
Box Cutter: I initially found this box cutter through my friend Nan, but let me tell you, it is wonderful. I don’t know why it took me so long to invest in a box cutter, but wow, does it make life easier if you are the type of person who receives a lot of packages!
Clear Kitten Heels: I bought these kitten heels after seeing them on my mom, and they are so great! They’re the perfect height, comfortable, and because they’re clear, they can go with almost anything! It helps that they’re less than $50, too.
Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook: Meredith Hayden, @wishbonekitchen, is one of my absolute favorite follows on Instagram and Tik Tok! She initially went viral for her videos documenting her days as a private chef in the Hamptons. While she’s not a private chef anymore, she is finally coming out with a cookbook! I’ve been waiting for her to release a cookbook for years, so I was ecstatic when she made this announcement at the end of last summer! It finally came out for pre-order last week, and I don’t know if I’ve ever ordered something quicker! If you don’t follow her, you definitely should!
Block Print Tablecloth: I wanted a cute tablecloth for our outdoor table and was so glad when I found this one! In full disclosure, it had a horrible chemical smell to it when I took it out of the box, but it lightened up with washing and since I’m using it outside, you honestly can’t smell it. I probably wouldn’t recommend it for indoor use, but if you’re looking for something inexpensive and cute to use outside, this should do the trick!
Chocolate Protein Powder: I’m always looking for ways to add more protein to my diet, but protein powder has always been hard for me! Most of them taste super chalky and have a horrible texture in my opinion, but I know protein smoothies are a great and easy way to get more protein in your day. I’ve followed Just Ingredients on Instagram for years, so I decided to give her protein powder a try, and so far, I love it! No chalky taste or texture for me! Now I want to try out her other products.
Lip Stain: I’ve seen this lip stain all over TikTok and Instagram, and I’ve been so curious, so I decided to order it! I got the shade XOXO and I really enjoy it! It’s a little freaky to apply since it goes on purple, but all you have to do is leave it on for 20 seconds; then, when you wipe it off, you have perfectly pink lips! I’ve also heard great things about the shade Romance.
Non-Alcoholic Spritz: In the past couple of years, I’ve really cut back my alcohol consumption, and because of that, I’m always looking for things to drink that are more interesting than water. I saw Grace Atwood share this non-alcoholic spritz on her Instagram Story a few weeks ago, so I ordered it to give it a try in Catalina last weekend. My friend Holly isn’t a big drinker either, and I knew the boys would definitely be drinking enough for all of us, so I thought this would be perfect! If you’re looking for an alternative to a spritz, I would definitely recommend trying this! I feel like most non-alcoholic drink options are overly sweet, but this really mimics the flavor and slight bitterness of a real spritz really well!
Best Pens: If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I am a pen fanatic. I’ve tried them all! I’m very picky and really only like fine ballpoint pens. If that sounds like you, then you will love these! They slide so smoothly on paper and have the perfect fine, but not too fine where it’s scratchy on the paper, point.
Butter Bell: Three Words – Soft. Spreadable. Butter. I’m currently on my sourdough bread journey and having delicious salted butter to spread on your freshly toasted bread is crucial to that. A butter bell allows you to keep your butter on the counter at room temperature so it’s soft and spreable, but still fresh by creating a water seal. Once you have one of these, you’ll never want to go back!
