I pinned this quote a while back when it showed up on my Pinterest dash a couple weeks ago and it could not be ringing more true right now. As a teen blogger it’s so important to remember that the most important thing in life is to just be yourself because the more genuine you are, the more interested people will be in you. I constantly find myself comparing myself to others whether it be critiquing my Instagram, judging my posts, or even my physical appearance, I do it all. the. time.
I think people outside the blog world definitely have this idea in their head that all bloggers are perfect (or think that they are perfect), that our lives have no problems, and that we are just overflowing with self-confidence. While most bloggers have more self-confidence than the average Joe, I know that I don’t only speak for myself when I say that confidence can be hard to come by, especially when you realize how many people are watching (in this case reading/looking at) you.
What do you do when you find your self-confidence dying out? Do you ever compare yourselves to others in your age group/profession?
