If you know me, you know that I die for anything navy and white striped. I feel like that fits a lot of people these days, but when I say I love them, I mean I love them. The other day a friend of mine counted all the navy and white striped items in my closet and she found 7… and that was just my school closet. Pretty sure if we got them all together it would be in the double digits.
When I found out that J.Crew was declaring today as National Stripes Day, I knew I had no choice but to participate. I mean it’s basically a holiday made for me. When I saw this top in the store, I knew it was a match made in navy and white striped heaven. I don’t know which part I like more, the fact that it’s off the shoulder, the bold stripes, or the bow detailing at the bottom of the sleeves (… or all three)!
I wore this outfit for a day out on a boat with some friends. We rented the boat for a couple hours and had brunch while we sailed around the marina. I wanted to wear something that would be casual but still fit the nautical theme of the day. This outfit totally fit the bill!
Isn’t the bow detailing on the sleeves to die for?
