I’m so excited to be starting a new series on the blog called Monthly Favorites. At the beginning of each month, I plan on sharing my favorite purchases/gifts/findings from the month before in one big recap! I feel like this will be a fun way to relive the month and share with you all what I’m loving!
March was pretty good in terms of acquiring new items because it was my birthday! I received so much love from my friends and family and so many fun gifts worth sharing, but I’m just going to tell you about a few…
Sonix Phone Case: A phone case that justifies drinking champagne whenever and wherever you want. Need I say more?
Gucci Disco Crossbody: I can not express enough how perfect this bag is. It’s everything a girl looks for in an everyday bag. I love how easy it is to just grab and go. It’s big enough that I can easily fit everything I absolutely need, but small enough that it limits me from lugging around the things I don’t. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but I firmly believe if you have the means to purchase it, it is 100% worth the investment. It’s the kind of bag that is timeless and really will last you forever if you take good care of it. (Look out for a “What’s In My Bag” post later this week!)
Hand Lettering Book: I’ve recently taken up hand lettering and “fake calligraphy” as a hobby and i love it so much! Two of my best friends got me this book among a few other things for my birthday and I’ve loved using it to practice! I plan on getting this one too!
A Couple Other Purchases and Fun Finds…
Lace-up Espadrilles (on sale now!): Words seriously can not describe how much I love these shoes. I’m grateful for the fact that I do not have to sacrifice style for comfort and vice-versa! I bought them at 30% off a couple weeks ago when J.Crew was having their sale and now they’re back at 30% off! Seriously I can not recommend them enough. As far as size goes, they only run in full sizes and although some of the reviewers recommend sizing up, I think I would say to size down. I usually wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 10. They work fine, but are a tiny bit loose, so I definitely think I could have done the 9. That’s just my opinion though!
Lilly Pulitzer S’well: I was so sad when this bottle sold out everywhere in the first day. I went to all my local Starbucks’s hoping to find just one, but I was left disappointed. So, imagine my excitement when I found my favorite of the designs in a random Starbucks in Central California while on the drive back from San Francisco over Spring Break! I love how bright and fun the colors on the bottle are! (Even though the Lilly ones are all gone, this one is to die for too!)
