What’s the SPF Level? SPF 35!
How much does it cost? $34
What will it feel like on my skin? Invisible Shield shield is made of a watergel formula that absorbs quickly into your skin without the use of drying alcohols, leaving your skin looking and feeling fresh. It dispenses like a cloudy, watery droplet and, when applied to skin, absorbs smooth and clear.
Is it going to make my skin look white and greasy? The watergel formula is exactly what the product’s name says it is — invisible when applied to skin. YAY for no white cast!
Where does Invisible Shield go in my daily skincare routine? Invisible Shield should be the last step in your skincare routine. So, if you’re a Glossier girl like me, this means you should put it on after your Priming Moisturizer and before your Perfecting Skin Tint.
Is it waterproof? No. Invisible Shield was made to be an everyday sunscreen. Since (most of) you aren’t swimming and going in the water everyday, Invisible Shield doesn’t need to be waterproof. If you’re planning on going in the water or sweating extensively outside, I’d say to use a waterproof sunscreen that will withstand it all. Invisible Shield lives in your daily routine not your beach bag!
Is Invisible Shield sunscreen the same thing as sunblock? Sunblock is the appropriate term for physical sun creams— those that use mineral ingredients to literally block the sun’s rays from reaching the skin. Invisible Shield is a chemical sunscreen, with ingredients that absorb rays rather than bounce them away.
I am truly so so excited about this product. It’s been there number one most requested product since their launch. They spent two years making it so it could be as perfect as possible let’s be honest, if Glossier tells me it’s amazing, I’m going to believe them.
