I can’t believe I am even writing this right now, but three years ago today was the day I wrote my first post on Preptista.
Looking back at it all now, it kind of seems like it was one big blur. Starting the blog, coming up with my style, developing my voice, and eventually finding success were all things I never really thought would actually happen. And when I started them, they weren’t really my main focus anyways. When I started my blog, I was a sophomore in high school, in a rut, and I needed an escape. I just wanted something fun to do besides homework every night! Luckily for me, I was able to find that escape here online by writing to all of you and even though for the first year or so it didn’t really seem like anyone actually read it besides me, I knew this was something that made me happy and something that, if I stuck with it, would take me far in life.
I am so, so grateful for all of the doors my blog has opened up for me, all the opportunities for growth I’ve been given, the people I’ve connected with, and most importantly the amazing friends I’ve made along this journey (you know who you are). It is such a blessing to have a community of people backing me up and supporting everything I do. Without you guys, none of this would have ever been possible.
