Time has absolutely flown by! Since graduation, I’ve traveled, started my full-time job, and adjusted to life living back at home. Luckily for me, my parents and I are the best of friends and it’s felt more like living with roommates than my mom and dad. Moving into my old bedroom has been nice (talk about way more space to myself), butI definitely feel like I’ve grown out of the the decor. Since I’m not experiencing the same excitement as some of my friends are of moving into their first apartment, I thought redecorating my room would be the perfect way to give myself some of that excitement. First big change? Painting my room white, which we are doing this week. Scroll down to see some of my inspiration for the new space…
Chandelier | Candle | Lamp | Zebra Dish | Gray Malin Print | Rug | Dresser | Bedding | Matchbook Print | Floor Mirror
My room has always been very pink. And while there will still definitely be hints of my favorite color, I’m going for a much cleaner, more minimal look this time around. As a nod to this new chapter in my life, I will also definitely be featuring a Gray Malin print above my bed. Bondi Wave is one of my all time favorites and while I haven’t fully committed yet, I’m definitely leaning towards it.
These aren’t all the actual items I will definitely be using in my room, but they definitely embody the overall feel I’m going for. If you’re currently on the hunt for some new home decor, Pottery Barn is currently offering up to 40% off on everything! They’re always such a great option for simple bedding and tasteful accent pieces. (Not sponsored, just such a huge fan of theirs!)
I can’t wait to share the final result when it’s all completed!
