Yesterday was my last first day of school before I head off to college and it was a lot harder than I expected it to be. When I woke up I was filled with a mixture of emotions from nervousness and excitement, to sadness. I was excited to see what the year had in store for me, I was nervous because I have a terrible fear of the unknown, and I was sad because I knew it was the last time I would ever have a first day of school at home. I feel like that pretty much sums up most people’s emotions towards senior year, but I definitely didn’t expect it. The day though, well, only one word can describe that – fun!
We had a huge dance party, enjoyed a delicious senior breakfast of pastries, decorated our cars, and really just celebrated together every chance we got!
I really couldn’t have asked for a better start to senior year! (Well, aside from all the homework I was assigned last night!)
