Somehow, it’s only December 4th, and I’ve been to two Christmas parties in the past two days. (Hence my lack of posting… I hope you can find it in you to forgive me haha). Talk about ringing in the holiday season! I really can’t think of a better way! I absolutely love holiday parties and although I’ve never thrown one myself, I have some pretty great ideas (if I do say so myself) that I want to share!
- Hot Chocolate Bar: I absolutely love the idea of having a hot chocolate bar at a party! It’s such a cozy treat and you can get so creative with it! You can have different kinds of hot chocolate and different topping choices such as whipped cream, marshmallows, candy canes, and cinnamon sticks!
- Photo Booth: The next party I throw will definitely have a photo booth. Photo Booths are so fun especially when there are props! For a Christmas party, you can do different santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer antlers and a nose! Not to mention, the adorable photos make the perfect souvenir to remember the party by!
- A Fun Playlist: Christmas playlists are great, but even I will admit the songs can get a tiny bit old after a while. Try making a Christmas playlist that mixes in the classics with some newer, upbeat songs to really get the party going and surprise all your guests!
- Try a Game! I know party games aren’t totally acceptable at all kinds of parties, but if your party is a bit more casual, think about having a game that involves everyone! My idea would be to have everyone split into groups of about four. Then, One person from each group will get to be wrapped like a present with wrapping paper and ribbon (the whole nine-yards!). The most creative idea wins!
