I’ve been using Kipling backpacks for as long as I can remember. To me, Kipling is synonymous with back to school. Up until last year when I made the switch to a Vineyard Vines backpack, I had been using a Kipling backpack for at least 5 years straight. When Kipling contacted me asking me to be a part of their back to school campaign, I felt a sense of relief knowing I wouldn’t have to tackle my freshman year without a trusty Kipling backpack by my side.
When my backpack came in the mail, I have to admit I was seriously impressed with how far Kipling has come along in the past year. As I’ve grown up, it seems so have they. Though they still offer backpacks with their signature monkey keychain, I was pleased to find the Deeda, a simplified, slightly more sophisticated version of the traditional Kipling backpack.
How fun is the hot pink lining? I’m absolutely in love with it! I think it’s the perfect splash of color to make you happy every time you pull something out of your backpack. That must be why they say #KiplingMakeHappy, right? One of my favorite parts of the backpack (besides the pink, obviously) is all the storage! There’s basically a pocket for everything and not only does it fit my 15″ laptop, it also has plenty of room for a couple notebooks and my agenda!

The gold hardware and the patent leather strip across the middle of the bag really make it look more sophisticated. They make the backpack feel a little bit more “adult” than carrying a backpack normally makes you feel. The bag is truly made with the quality and workmanship that has drawn me back to the brand year after year. Kipling never disappoints.
